During the school day, Sixth Form students may work in the Library at any time. Pupils in Years 9, 10 and 11 may visit the Library at morning break (through the entrance upstairs only) or during lesson time with their teacher’s consent. If you have permission to use the Library during lesson time, you must have your diary signed by your teacher.
Students can also use the Library at lunchtimes. To visit us during Periods 5, 6 or 7 you need the correct pass. These are issued upstairs by staff during morning break. But you need to be quick - a maximum of only 20 passes are given out for each of the three periods.
The Library has a wide range of resources available for all ages and abilities.
As well as having over 15,000 books on site (the majority of which can be borrowed for 3 weeks), the Library is able to offer for loan a selection of Infomagz (for 1 week) and (at a reasonable charge) a good range of videos/DVDs (for 1 week) and CDs (for 2 weeks).
The loan charges are as follows:
CDs: 80p
